Grip Connector Small & Large
Stainless steel handle brackets offer a practical solution for connecting Tempotrax ground protection mats on level surfaces. The connectors make it efficient to connect the mats together. They are very versatile as they are designed to fit Tempotrax mats with a thickness from 8 to 22mm. No tools are needed to attach them. Grip Connector Small suitable for ECONOMY, LIGHT, MEDIUM MIX and Grip Connector Large for HEAVY DUTY.

Cable ties:
Heavy Duty Cable ties can be a low cost solution to using any of our standard metal or plastic connectors and is often preferred by rental companies and large projects since connectors are often misplaced and never to be found again.  On such occasions the investment in cable ties is more sound. Suitable situations are fore example when using a small amount of lightweight machinery, on good to firm ground, or when providing a walkway for pedestrians you may find Heavy Duty Cable ties are the best and easiest connection method. A quick fix for gardeners, rental companies, large projects were there is no time to look after each connector.  For outdoor use, UV-resistant and 100% recyclable.

Simple 2 way connector/ Steel U-pin

Steel U-Pin Connectors are a great way to connect LIGHT MEDIUM mats fast and effectively without the need of bolts or washers. They can be used either to connect the mats together in each corner via the unique S-Shape design, or they can also be driven into the ground helping to secure them, especially when working on very soft ground or on inclines. Steel U-Pin Fast-Fit Connectors provide good connection when using mats on a short term basis and when using light/medium duty weight vehicles and machinery. They’re made from regular steel ensuring a good lifespan but may rust when used and stored in wet areas.

Draghook ( Mat drag hooks)

Our mats are supplied with pre-drilled holes in each corner to allow for easy connection and fixing. The mats can be easily lifted or dragged into position by using the pre-formed connector holes and specially constructed ‘drag hooks’. Based on a simple J-hook design, drag hooks enable the efficient movement of mats over a distance which can then be placed into the correct spot for a quick and trouble-free installation.
